Pangtumai is a village located in West Jaflong Union of Goainghat Upazila of Sylhet District. A very beautiful waterfall has come down to the heart of Bangladesh from the dense forest of Meghalaya, neighboring India.

Although the waterfall falls within the neighboring country of India, it can be enjoyed up close by standing on the banks of the river Piane. The beauty of the waterfall can be enjoyed without going near the border. The local name of the spring is Fatachhari spring. Some call it Barahil Jharna. Pantumai village is called by many people as "Pangthumai" but its correct pronunciation is "Pantumai".

It is about 20-25 km from Jaflong. This village is located at the foot of the hills of the Indian state of Meghalaya, right on the border. Rows of mountains, springs, water streams flowing from springs, and horizons of pastures can be seen from this village of the state of Meghalaya. Locals also call the spring as Fatachhari spring or Barahil spring.
