Islamic Society of Bay Ridge

This is a brief description of the significant role that Islamic Society of
Bay Ridge plays in being a pillar of the community.

Islamic Society of Bay Ridge ISBR also known as Masjid Musab
ibn Umair, is one of the of the first few mosques not only to appear in
Brooklyn, but New York as a whole.

Throughout its history, Islamic Society of Bay Ridge has always had a positive
influence on the community and continues to do so until this day. It plays a
role in outreach to non-muslim individuals, organizations, politicians, and
activists.

Islamic Society of Bay Ridge is the spring of all Islamic activities in the
area. It has paved the way for other Islamic centers and organizations, and
continues to support provide support to those who need it.
