Abu Bakr Jamia Mosque

Welcome to the Abu Bakr Jamia Masjid (Mosque) of Southampton, one of the largest Mosques in the south of England. The Masjid was built through the tireless efforts of the Muslims of Southampton.

Although the Masjid adheres to the Hanafi madhab (school), you will find Muslims of all denominations and nationalities attending the Masjid and adding to its very vibrant atmosphere. Non-Muslims are also most welcome to attend for prayer or participate in the many Islamic study circles, classes and events currently taking place. So feel free to join us for prayer!
