About Us
Welcome to the Markaz Al-Taqwa website.

The core motivation of this project was the troubled youth, youth without any recreation outlet along with a community that was dispersed and disconnected.

After realising the substantial increase of the Muslim community in and around Manchester, an all-round Islamic community centre was essential.

The Markaz Al-Taqwa Masjid & Islamic Institute was established in Ramadhan 2014.

The centre we had envisioned was not only a place for our daily prayers but also a place to prepare the next generations to benefit themselves and their communities.

Markaz Al-Taqwa is now used for a wide variety of community activities including Friday Sermons (Jummah prayers), youth clubs, and conferences.
