Gulyakhali beach

Guliakhali Beach is located at the mouth of the river in Sitakunda Upazila of Chittagong, Bangladesh. It is also known as Muradpur beach. The government has declared the beach as a tourist protected area. 259.10 acres of coastal protected forest area will be covered under this declaration.

Earlier, the beach was less crowded due to lack of awareness about it. In 2014, some students of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CHUET) went around and uploaded their pictures on Facebook and YouTube. After that everyone knows about the beach. Now a lot of people gather here.
