Ashton Central Mosque

Welcome to Ashton Central Mosque, formerly known as the Markazi Jami‘a Mosque, the first and longest established Mosque in Ashton-under-Lyne. Previously located on Newton Street in an old converted school building, we have now by the infinite blessings of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta ‘Ala, relocated to a purpose built Mosque and Community Centre in the heart of Ashton-under-Lyne on Hillgate Street.

The doors of Ashton Central Mosque are open for all members of the community who wish to visit, learn or have any questions related to Islam and Muslims. At Ashton Central Mosque we strive towards excellence both in faith and action, and therefore encourage all members of the community to come and view the religious and social reforms taking place at Ashton Central Mosque.
